Family Photo Privacy Checklist
Before you trust any app with a family photo archive, it helps to know what questions to ask. AllPicture is being built in early access for people who want a more intentional way to organize and review private photo collections.

Five checks before a family photo cleanup
This is the practical owned-surface version of the checklist: full page content, internal routes, and measurable beta CTAs.
- Find every original before you clean anythingList the phones, iCloud and Google Photos accounts, WhatsApp folders, old drives, laptops, NAS shares, and memory cards that may still hold family originals.
- Separate memories from noiseMark screenshots, receipts, memes, burst shots, blurry duplicates, and shared chat media separately from pictures your family would miss in ten years.
- Prove backup safety before deletionFor any photo you plan to remove, confirm at least one readable copy exists somewhere else and that you know which account or drive owns it.
- Check private-AI and encryption claimsAsk whether originals, previews, faces, search terms, and recovery files are encrypted, and whether AI runs locally, in cloud workers, or in a mixed mode.
- Keep export and cancellation boringA family archive should leave cleanly. Confirm original-format export, account deletion, and recovery behavior before trusting any cleanup workflow.
Use it with the messy-library audit
The encryption check works best after you know where the chaos lives and before you authorize any app to touch originals.
